A Message from Diamond R. Litty, President of LifeBuilders of the Treasure Coast

Thank you so much for visiting LifeBuilders of the Treasure Coast, Inc. Our organization was created to address issues and obstacles faced by individuals in the 19th Judicial Circuit, which includes St. Lucie, Martin, Indian River and Okeechobee Counties in Florida. A number of dedicated individuals within the community saw a great need to assist individuals who had completed various diversion programs to help break the cycle of crime. By filling 'gaps' that public funding cannot address, reduction in recidivism and the potential for success are tremendously enhanced.  All of us on the board of LifeBuilders of the Treasure Coast truly believe that it is possible to "change a life and change the world." 

In our lives, we have all wished for at least one “do-over” -- a chance to make better decisions, take a different path, or reinvent ourselves for the better. LifeBuilders of the Treasure Coast is all about giving individuals who really want to put the effort into making a positive change in their lives the opportunity and resources to do just that. When we help individuals find and learn how to use the tools to make better life choices and deal with difficult problems including mental illness and drug addiction, we give them a second chance to make a first impression. It’s a win-win situation for the community too; LifeBuilders of the Treasure Coast reduces recidivism, increases public safety, enhances the criminal justice system and truly saves lives that otherwise would have been lost.

Through grants, donations and community support, LifeBuilders is hoping to achieve financial autonomy to ensure that the achievements realized in the past and happening now, will continue to be made for a long time into the future. Please consider supporting LifeBuilders financially, as a volunteer, and with your heart and soul. We all truly believe in this program and have positive proof that it works.
